APAIE is an international non-profit organization whose goal is to activate and reinforce the internationalization of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world, and to engage the professional challenges of individuals in international education.
Each year APAIE holds an international conference hosted by a University in the Asia-Pacific Region. Previous APAIE conferences have been hosted by Korea University (Seoul, Korea), National University of Singapore (Singapore), Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan) and Renmin University in Beijing, China.
APAIE is poised to ride the Next Wave and satisfy its vision of profound and expanding regional scholarly collaboration. Conceived to unite the institutions of the Asia Pacific region, APAIE is now recognized as the foundation that supports international educators, students and institutions. In April 2010, APAIE will hold its fifth Annual Conference and Exhibition, hosted by Griffith University, in Gold Coast, Australia.
