The International Education Research Network (IERN) supports established and emerging researchers and individuals in industry, business and government who are interested in research on all aspects of international education.
The IERN is multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral, involving Higher Education, Vocational Education and Training (VET), English Language Teaching (ELT) and Schools sectors and aims to connect, inform and lead research activities across the sector. The Network also aims to impact both public policy and institutional policy and practice in all aspects of international education.
The Network is supported by the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) and is funded through Australian Education International (AEI).
The IERN supports and is informed by related IEAA research activities including the annual Winter Researchers Symposium, Research Workshops and other research focused activities.
