Research Roundtable

The IEAA Research Roundtable is a one day event organised by IEAA and held annually in conjunction with the Australian International Education Conference in the relevant Australian city.

The Roundtable includes:

  • An international panel discussion on the state of current world research in international education.
  • A scan of new research released in the past year.
  • Current and recently completed research and thesis summaries and updates.
  • A networking lunch and cocktails.

Target Audience

The Roundtable seeks to cater to the interests and needs of established and new researchers, including current research students, across a wide range of disciplines researching on international education; education industry practitioners and research users; government policy makers; research commissioning/funding agencies.

Outcomes

Participants taking part in the Roundtable will leave with a greater understanding of:

  • Current leading research in international education.
  • Critical issues for research in international education.
  • Emerging research, researchers and focus areas.
  • Opportunities in cross disciplinary approaches to international education.
