Benchmarking
A number of education institutions use benchmarking as a means of comparing their operations with that of others to help determine potential areas for improvement, highlight areas where they can learn from others and identify where issues need to be investigated.
In the international education sector education providers use various benchmarking activities, tools and research providers depending on their sector, networks, budget and priorities. Following are some of the benchmarking tools adopted by various Australian education providers:
- Australian Universities International Directors' Forum (AUIDF)
Benchmarking:
- International Office Operations
- Outbound Mobility
- International Student Barometer (i-graduate)
- TAFE benchmarking of international office operations (Strategic Policy Research Education – SPRE)
