Vista Special Edition 24 September 2007

Special Edition: Positive Trends in Higher Education Enrolments - AEI's July 2007 International Student Statistics

Positive trends revealed in recent AEI international student data are good news for the higher education sector.  However, other factors may impinge over the longer term and slower growth of the sector is likely.

IEAA member, Alan Olsen, has provided an analysis which points to the current health of the sector.  Longer term trends for industry will be presented at a special session at the AIEC in October, and through the release of a major research publication, Global Student Mobility: An Australian Perspective Five Years On, a revision and extension of IDP’s Global Student Mobility 2025.
