IEAA Transnational Education Forum 2017

Now in its third year, IEAA’s Transnational Education (TNE) Forum has cemented its place as a key event for exploring the latest trends and developments affecting transnational education.

Following on from the success of last year’s event, we will explore a range of topics, including:

  • Global perspectives on quality assurance and accreditation
  • The ‘business’ of TNE: delivery and financial models, taxation, staffing and resourcing
  • High volume B2B vocational training case studies
  • Engaging with TNE alumni
  • Emerging TNE markets… and more.

Interested in presenting a paper?

Presenting a paper or workshop is not only a great way to share your expertise, but a fantastic opportunity to enhance your profile with a national audience of TNE specialists. If you have a topic that might be of interest, we want to hear from you! Submissions close Friday 31 March (see Tab 2).

This event is led by IEAA's Transnational Education Special Interest Group (SIG).

Target audience

This forum will be of particular interest to staff involved in:

  • developing and managing TNE partnerships
  • quality assurance of TNE programs
  • teachers, academics and support staff engaged in the TNE student experience including outcomes.

Participants will gain the most out of the forum if they have some involvement in, and understanding of, TNE. Participants should also have a good understanding of how their respective institutions currently deliver, or are considering delivery of, TNE.

Outcomes

IEAA’s TNE forum aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the transnational education landscape in Australia and globally via interactive sessions highlighting contemporary case studies from a broad range of institutions and organisations.

It also provides a valuable opportunity to network and exchange insights with other transnational education professionals and the wider international education sector.
