Making a Difference

Launched at Parliament House, Canberra, by the Minister for Tertiary Education, Senator Chris Evans, on Tuesday 22 November 2011, this book is now available for purchase. Possibly the first comprehensive history of a country's international education initiatives, it covers all aspects and sectors of Australian international education, and illustrates its many benefits.

The book tells the story of Australian international education from its foundations in the early part of the 20th century, though the introduction of the full-fee program in the mid-1980s to the present day where it has become the leading services export for Australia. The distinctively Australian approach to international education, especially in entrepreneurial marketing and innovative programming and delivery, is highlighted.
