The Career Outcomes of Learning Abroad project surveyed more than 3,300 alumni of Australian universities. Led by Dr Davina Potts and published by IEAA, it is the first comprehensive, national study of learning abroad outcomes.
Four years and 32,000 downloads after the publication of IEAA's first international student employability guide, we are thrilled to release an all-new, interactive guide full of essential tips and practical steps to help students on their employability journey.
In February 2022, IEAA’s Admissions and Compliance Network distributed a survey to members of the international education community to gather feedback for the ESOS review and PRISMS improvement project, both of which form part of the Australian Strategy for International Education 2021–2030. The results of the survey showed a great diversity of knowledge within the sector, writes Convener Paula Soon.
International students who remained in Australia during the pandemic faced considerable challenges. In a recent research study, the experiences of Indonesian students and the potential damage to Australia's reputation as a study destination is explored. The findings highlight the importance of connections with community groups and networks, financial stability and professional support offered by education providers, write Jemma Purdey and Antje Missbach.
