Whether you're new to the international education sector or an experienced professional, join us for a fun and engaging networking event.

Held immediately following the IEAA Learning Abroad Forum 2026, this event offers a unique opportunity to continue conversations from the day, connect with Learning Abroad practitioners from across Australia and build relationships in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This event is open to IEAA members and all emerging professionals in international education. Attendees from the Learning Abroad Forum do not need to register.

Hon Phil Honeywood, IEAA-SF 

Chief Executive Officer 

International Education Association of Australia 

Phil has been IEAA's Chief Executive Officer since November 2011. Previously, he was a Member of the Victorian State Parliament (1988–2006), Minister for Tertiary Education, Training and Multicultural Affairs (1996–1999) and Deputy Leader of the Opposition (2002–2006). Since retiring from politics, Phil worked at Stott’s Business College and Cambridge International College. Phil is the Chairman of the Roundtable of International Education Peak Body CEOs and a member of the Tuition Protection Service Board. Phil is also a Board member of the Bennelong Philanthropic Foundation and the Bangarra Group Board.

Kenny Khoo, IEAA-AF 

Senior Manager International Recruitment 

Flinders University 

Kenny brings a highly unique experience shaped by two decades of work across recruitment, admissions, partnerships, and compliance. He is currently the Manager International Compliance and Risk at Flinders University responsible for ensuring compliance with the ESOS framework. He also provides specialist advice on SSVF. Kenny has full admiration for international students in pursuit of an international education. He understands their challenges and is keen to ensure that they have a good experience. As industry professionals, he believes that it is our responsibility to ensure that their goals are supported as well.

Vincent Liu 

Employability Officer 

University of Sydney 

Vincent Liu is a dedicated professional at the Careers Centre, University of Sydney, supporting international students in their career development and employability. Previously, he worked in Sydney Future Students – International Recruitment, focusing on the Greater China region and leading initiatives to attract and support international students. With extensive experience across ELICOS, vocational education, and higher education in ASX-listed corporations, government, and universities, Vincent has successfully developed markets in Asia and built strong partnerships with industry and education stakeholders. He is passionate about empowering international students to thrive in Australia and become confident, globally minded young professionals.

Sandra Yan 

Associate Vice President & Pathway Programs 

International College of Management Sydney (ICMS) 

Sandra Yan specialises in student recruitment, partner engagement, and pathway programs. She leads strategic initiatives that strengthen stakeholder relationships while enhancing access and support for students. Originally from China, Sandra spent eight years in Singapore before relocating to Australia, bringing valuable cross-cultural insight and a deep understanding of international education markets. Her global experience enables her to connect effectively with diverse communities and contribute meaningfully to sector growth. Sandra is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where students and young professionals feel supported and empowered, and creating opportunities that enable individuals to flourish in international education and achieve their goals.

Individual Registration

To register for an IEAA event, you first need to either sign in to your account, or create a new account using the links just below the registration button.

  2. Choose the registration option (if there are more than one).
  3. Add any dietary or accessibility requirements (in person events only).
  4. Proceed to checkout to complete your registration.

Group Registration

To register a group, you first need to either sign in to your account, or create a new account using the links just below the registration button.

Once you are logged in you need to:

  1. Register yourself (following the individual registration steps).
  2. Choose another person Register additional people from your organisation by selecting register someone else.
  3. Select 'Register Someone Else' to add another person from your organisation.
  4. Enter the name in the search field and select.
  5. Select 'Save' to add them to your registration.
  6. Choose the registration options for each individual.
  7. Repeat for additional people.
  8. Proceed to checkout to complete your registration.
